The Pirastro Strings Elite Soloists Program will accept only 5 participants to study with Jeff Bradetich. Thanks to the generous support of Pirastro Strings, this program offers free tuition, room and board. The Pirastro company will also supply participants with free strings.To qualify, students must have a number of solo works ready for study and performance. September 16, 2016 Bradetich Foundation and "Anna's Promise"
The Bradetich Foundation is a proud corporate sponsor of Anna's Promise, a unique multi-media International musical production dedicated to spreading joy, inspiration, compassion, and the double bass to the world.
Anna's Promise is a 55 minute production for a solo bassist, narrator, chamber orchestra and back ground visuals that will be performed in 34 countries around the World with 34 native celebrity bassists between August 2016-June 2017. The musical score is written by the talented Argentine bassist-composer, Andres Martin, and is sponsored by many of our bass merchants. This production is the 3rd in a series of musical journeys conceived by bassist-author-educator Barry Green on themes in his inspirational books. The story of Anna's Promise is about dancers, actors and musicians of any instrument or voice sharing their artistry to future generations.
Bradetich Master Classes
June 20-24, 2017
The Bradetich Master Classes (30th Annual), held at the University of North Texas, are one of the longest running events of their kind in the U.S, offering a highly concentrated week of study for aspiring bassists. Participants, who come from four continents as well as all corners of the U.S., receive optimum individual and group instruction in every aspect of double bass playing. The classes include daily two-hour sessions dealing with technique, orchestral repertoire, interpretation of solo literature, and bass ensembles rehearsed throughout the week. All full participants have the opportunity to perform with piano accompaniment and are videotaped during the solo classes. The master classes end with a grand finale concert featuring ensemble performances by the participants and solo performances by Jeff Bradetich and various guest bassists. These unique master classes are open to well qualified high school and college students, young professionals, string teachers and older individuals who seek to rejuvenate their love and knowledge of the double bass.

Beginners and Intermediate Bass Camp
June 22-24, 2017
The Beginners and Intermediate Bass Camp (17th Annual) is designed for any aged beginner or intermediate player providing lots of playing and lots of fun. Students are challenged to expand their technical capabilities, to develop their musical expression and to learn about the repertoire, history and maintenance of their instrument. Students study with some of the top teachers of young bassists in the country and perform together in a grand finale Bass Bash Concert.

Pirastro Strings Elite Soloists Program
May 26 - June 2, 2017
The Pirastro Strings Elite Soloists Program (14th Annual) runs for five days. The Pirastro Strings sponsorship provides for free tuition, room and board for the 5 students selected by audition to study with Jeff Bradetich. Daily lessons and solo classes are held in a highly individualized program with a focus on developing an artist’s level approach to solo performance. To qualify, students must have a full program of solo works ready for study and performance. Participants in the program include current members of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, the National Symphony of New Zealand, the Singapore Symphony, the Ft. Worth Symphony and the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra. Deadline March 15, 2017

Mittenwald, Germany International Master Classes
July 31 - August 5, 2017
Set in the idyllic Bavarian village of Mittenwald, Germany, the Mittenwald International Master Classes (12th Annual) offer an exciting week of kontrabass study with Jeff Bradetich. The week offers intense technical training, concerts, solo master classes, bass ensembles, improvisation and performance workshops and bass orchestra concerts in the streets of Mittenwald. Mittenwald is the home of Pollmann basses and a tour of the workshop is included. Special guest artists from Europe participate each year. Major sponsors for the International Master Classes are Pöllmann Basses and Pirastro Strings.
Guest Artist for 2017 is Christine Hoock, international solo artist and professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria.

Hammond Ashley Memorial Double Bass Workshop
June 26 - 30, 2017
The Hammond Ashley Memorial Double BassWorkshop (23rd Annual) is held at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington, offering advanced classes with Max Dimoff, principal bass of the Cleveland Orchestra and Jeff Bradetich. Beginner, intermediate and adult classes are taught by Todd Gowers, Ben Musa, and Miriam Chong. Technique building, ensemble playing, orchestral excerpts, jazz classes and basic theory are taught throughout the week in addition to faculty and student concerts.

Hong Kong International Bass Camp

The 5th Hong Kong International Bass Camp will be held in Hong Kong, China and is open to all levels of bass players from all Asian countries. The camp stresses technical development, solo playing and bass ensemble playing. Major teachers include: Jeff Bradetich, David Lee and Pichan Vonghemrat.
