The Beginners and Intermediate Bass Camp is the perfect opportunity for bassists of all ages at the beginner and intermediate levels to learn, grow, and have fun! This engaging and supportive program is designed to help students strengthen their technique, enhance their musical expression, and explore the rich repertoire and history of the double bass—all while enjoying plenty of playing time.

Participation Level
Full Participant (Limit 30)
- Participate in all sessions and solo classes.
- Basic knowledge of the double bass is required, for instance, familiarity with scales such as G and D major.
- No audition required.
Arrival – Departure:
We are excited to welcome you to this year’s program! Registration and check-in will take place on Monday, June 23rd, at 6:00 PM, and the final concert will conclude around 9:15 PM on Friday, June 27th. All students, including those commuting, must check in on Monday to ensure a smooth start to the week.

For those staying on campus, check-out will be on Friday, June 27th, before the final concert. Belongings will be safely stored and can be picked up afterward. Double Bass Rental
For students traveling internationally or from out of state, a limited number of double basses and stools will be available free of charge. Please indicate your request in your application.
A $125 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required with registration and will be applied to your total payment.
