Mittenwald International Double Bass Masterclasses

Set in the idyllic Bavarian village of Mittenwald, Germany, the 15th Annual Mittenwald International Double Bass Masterclass offer an exciting week of kontrabass study with Jeff Bradetich, Andreas Bennetzen, Alex Bayer, Alexis Scharff and physiotherapist Angela Gebler.

 

The week offers intense technical training, concerts, solo master classes, bass ensembles, improvisation and performance workshops and bass orchestra concerts in the streets of Mittenwald. Students attend from all corners of the world and return home with vital insights into playing and learning, and rich memories of working in a positive, supportive environment.

 

Mittenwald is the home of Pöllmann Basses and a tour of the workshop is included.
