The winner of the inaugural Bradetich Foundation International Double Bass Solo Competition is Artem Chirkov from Russia.

Semi-Finalists Announced
On Thursday, June 17th, nine competitors were chosen to perform a 40-minute recital in the semi-final round of the Bradetich Foundation Competition being held at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

The semi-finals will be held Friday, June 18 with the finalists announced at 7 pm CST.

The Bradetich Foundation is pleased to announced that 21 artists have been invited to participate in the 1st Round of the Bradetich Foundation International Double Bass Competition June 16-20, 2010 at the University of North Texas.
